Iran’s president, Masoud Pezeshkian, visited the 29th Iran International Oil, Gas, ‎Refining and ‎Petrochemical Exhibition, also ‎known as Iran Oil Show 2025, on Thursday, May 8.

The managing director of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), in a meeting with the head of the Russian Oil and Gas Industry Association on the sidelines of the 29th International Oil, Gas, Refining & Petrochemical Exhibition (Iran Oil Show 2025), highlighted the capabilities of Iranian experts in the oil and gas sector and stressed the importance of increased engagement with Russian partners, calling for expanded bilateral cooperation.

The Managing director of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) Saeid Tavakoli announced new measures by the company to facilitate international contracts, attract investment and develop gas relations with neighboring countries. He said gas cooperation between Iran and Turkmenistan will pave the way for regional gas trade.

Iran is working to create new markets in an effort to increase its share in international energy trade, Mohsen Paknejad said.

Iran Oil Show 2025 opens in Tehran

The 29th International Oil, Gas, Refining & Petrochemical Exhibition (Iran Oil Show 2025) was officially inaugurated by Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad, who unveiled the event’s official logo.

The 29th International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition of Iran (Iran Oil Show 2025) is scheduled to kick off on May 8.

150 foreign companies from 14 countries and hundreds of domestic companies in the fields of oil, gas, refining and petrochemical will showcase their latest products and achievements in Iran Oil Show 2025.

Iran’s oil minister says that the country has reached an understanding with Russia for the transfer of Russian gas to Iran via the Azerbaijani territory.

Iran has launched negotiations and practical steps to connect to Russia’s gas resources as part of a broader strategy to transform the country into a regional energy hub, managing director of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), Saeid Tavakoli said on Thursday.

Iranian Oil Minister has announced that Turkmen gas exports to Turkey through Iran have started, stating that the contract has now been finalized and gas is flowing.
