According to the report of the public relations of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), the document was signed by the managing director of the NIGC Majid Chegeni and the head of Turkmengaz State Company Batir Amanov, where Iranian Minister of Petroleum Mohsen Paknejad also was present at the ceremony.

Iran and Turkmenistan signed a gas cooperation document in Tehran in the presence of the Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and the National Leader of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow.
